Brandon Temple

Psychedelic cowboy, creator of the unforeseen.

In Brandon’s own words…

I draw much of my inspiration from the beautiful scenery I’m surrounded by living in Colorado. Growing up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, I was immersed in a world of athletics and competition, but decided to take a more creative path. My art practice has followed a path closely linked together with nature and conservation. Many of my pieces draw on inspiration from the planet. I find that the mathematics present in the growth of trees, the tributaries of streams, and more to be an incredible inspiration. As well as nature, I find inspiration in the relationships that I have with my friends and family. I plan on graduating from CU Boulder and pursuing a career as an art educator. I believe that teaching the next generation of artists is one of the most valuable opportunities someone can have. Eventually I would like to return to higher education and graduate with a masters degree, to go on to become a professor.
